Venue For The Against the Wind Festival
The Arcata Playhouse is the venue for the Against the Wind Festival, a week-long festival dedicated to peace and environmental issues. The Against the Wind Festival was created to draw attention to the threat of nuclear weapons and war, and to promote environmental protection and peaceful activism. It features live performances, lectures, and art exhibits, all centered on peace and environmental issues.
The festival’s lineup will feature international and national artists. On the Against the Wind stage, you can catch up with up-and-coming bands and artists who are playing their own songs. The Gannat Festival is free and open to the public. Guests can also enjoy performances by local musicians.
Against the Wind is an annual event that features music, art, and community-based performances. The festival draws thousands of people each year from all over the Bay Area. The festival features a variety of art, food, and entertainment, all presented in an idyllic park setting. Community-based performing groups can apply to be part of the festival by submitting an Entertainment Application by March 4. If your group is selected, you will receive an email confirming your acceptance. You can also contact Jack Irvine at 707-407-9667 to ask for more information.
The concert is an unforgettable experience. The acclaimed artists play songs from their latest albums and perform songs from their early years. The experience is electrifying and one that fans will never forget.
